About me

My name is Grzegorz Długosz, I’m a Polish wildlife photographer based in Warsaw. In 2010 when I was 8 years old I discovered my fascination with the natural world by exploring forests around my house and watching nature documentaries on the TV.

My goal through my photography is to convey stories about nature, habitats and the beauty of the world surrounding us. I strive to show what’s fleeting and worth protecting as even at my young age I already have seen the changes happening in the natural world.

I spend most of my free time, with a camera in hand and binoculars on my neck, exploring habitats and looking for interesting subjects. No matter if it’s from a floating hide or simply on a walk, I love getting close to the animals I photograph, it makes me feel calm and at peace, time slows down and my single focus is on creating.

My images have been recognized in various international photography competitions.
